Well, I guess to make a long story short, in the Fall of 2010, we both came to the realization that not only was it NOT crazy (well, maybe kind of), but that this seemed like the best solution for us. It would be cheaper and much quicker than a traditional Master's program in the U.S. After much thought, prayer, and internet researching, we made the decision to do it.
Jay boarded a plane on January 7, 2011 to begin his nine months of schooling in Enschede, The Netherlands. Never heard of it? It's about two hours (by train) east of Amsterdam, very near the German border. I stayed in Wyoming to finish the school year with plans to join him this summer.
So this is where our journey begins. It is scary, it sounds crazy, but we take comfort in the unknown. Comfort in the fact that our God is bigger than any divide of an ocean or continents....
